My next Kickstarter art project has launched!
This time around, I'm re-visiting the drawings I did for M.A.R. Barker's Legions of the Petal Throne painting Guide article way back in Dragon Magazine #6. These were my first professionally published drawings, ever! Stretch goals include drawings of ALL of the underworld creatures, which were never depicted in the original Empire of the Petal Throne RPG from TSR!

Villains Vigilantes Legal Battle Update
Urgent Reminder! The next big milestone is $10k which we must pass by October 30 to cover the next installment of our lawyer's retainer fee. Once that's paid up (on November 30) we'll only need to raise enough to pay her hourly rate (about $2.5k per month), but right now the pressure is on. Villains and Vigilantes Legal Battle
I was the co-creator of the classic 1979 superhero tabletop role-playing game, Villains and Vigilantes. Jack Herman and I started MHG in 2010 when we learned that our game's original publisher, FGU Inc., had ceased to exist in 1991 and that the publishing rights to V&V reverted to us at that time. Unfortunately, the old publisher's former president was not willing to let go, and so we have become embroiled in a lawsuit. Our claim that the publishing rights reverted to us has been upheld, but our opponent is still fighting over the trademark to our game's name. We've been fighting for our rights for several years, and frankly we need more
