Eyil and the Worm

This is an illustration of a scene from M.A.R. Barker's Tekumel novel, "The Man of Gold". Eyil, priestess of Hrihayal, is being interrogated in the dreaded Tolek Kana Pits near Bey Su by a Ghatoni minion of Prince Dhi'chune, who watches the proceedings impassively. This piece was commissioned by Howard Fielding of the Tekumel Project.
